On behalf of Efatha family, my wife, Eliakunda, and myself, I wish to convey my condolence to the family, leadership, friends and the entire family of New Wine Church for the loss of the Senior Pastor, Michael Olawore, my spiritual son who we were together for many years.
May my sympathy and heartfelt condolence bring comfort to you all. I remember Pastor Michael, his kindness and attitude to serve God dearly. I celebrate and admire his commitment and kindness, and the love he showed unto the ministry that God laid upon him was very unique.
He was dearly committed to serving God and I know I will meet him in heaven one day. I know all of us commit to serve the Lord, knowing that the day of reward is coming, according to our deeds before the Lord. This is the truth.
In Tanzania, we remember him dearly and he was scheduled to come back in October 2018. I was puzzled to hear about the demise but what can we do? We celebrate what God has done. All in all, let us praise God, give thanks in all circumstances, “for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” according to 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
For the wife and the children of Pastor Michael, let the Spirit of God comfort you wherever you are in this time of mourning. And the New Wine Church family, let our heavenly Father embrace you whatever you do. The hand of God be with you always.
And to the friends, let the word of God encourage you to move forward because you know there is reward in serving God. All we know is that one day we will be together with Jesus Christ in heaven. This is our gain.
Till we meet again, thank you.
